Production Assistant

We are seeking energetic, “hands-on” Production Assistants to assist in the creation of e-learning courses. Our training courses are custom-designed to meet each client’s individual needs, with the majority developed for online delivery.

This position offers a great opportunity to both learn about and gain experience in the growing e-learning industry.


The main function of this entry-level position is to serve as the Project Manager’s main support throughout the production and quality assurance cycles. Assignments will include:

  • Creating audio voiceover scripts for use in the recording studio.
  • Developing photo lists from course scripts, including organizing the shot list for efficient use during the photo shoot. Coordinating photo shoot logistics with client and internal staff. Also assisting in post-shoot production activities such as the selection and transmission of final photos to the graphic artist.
  • Testing online courses for technical functionality as well as proofreading on-screen text against the written script.
  • After technical testing is completed, identifying the corrections to be made, and then following through with internal team members to ensure correct completion.
  • Identifying stock photography for graphic artist use by searching internal archives as well as online stock photo libraries.
  • Preparing photos and other graphic images for insertion into courses using Photoshop.
  • Completing other miscellaneous production tasks for the Project Manager and other production staff members as needed.


  • 1-2 years of related business experience in media production, website design, graphic arts, writing/editing or project management.
  • Proactive, “get the job done” mentality.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated abilities to multi-task and
    meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy in the completion of all tasks.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and graphics skills (Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with web/website production, graphic arts, computer programming, multimedia training, and copy editing is a plus.
  • Candidates who have educational credentials in multimedia production will be given first consideration.
